Our Staff: Dr. Charles M. Collins and Dr. Frederic J. Kelley III opened their practice, Eye Care for Rhode Island, at 939 West Main Road in Middletown, R.I. on September 7, 2011. The ceremony was attended by staff, friends and their construction and design team.
Their office manager is Nerry Terpening, who is ably assisted by administrative staff members: Debbie , Lorna, Susan, and Jennifer, certified biller. Their certified ophthalmic technicians are: Melissa, Maria, Becki ; assisted by Brittney. Their optical department is managed by certified optician, Janetta Donovan and assisted by certified optician, Katie Flowers.
Dr. Charles Collins
Dr. Collins is a Board Certified Opthalmologist, graduating from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. >> read more
Dr. Frederic Kelley
Dr. Kelley is a Board Certified Optometrist, and a graduate of Assumption College and New England College of Optometry. >> read more
Dr. Jorge Rivera
Dr. Rivera joined Eye Care for RI in January 2013, and is a board certified ophthalmologist, fellowship trained in Cornea/Refractive and Glaucoma. >> read more
Dr. DeFreitas graduated from Providence College in 1990. He continued his graduate education at the The New England College of Optometry. >> read more
